BAU 2025 trade fair provides new inspiration for time-saving fixings
The world's leading trade fair fair for architecture, materials, and systems - Summary
Munich, January 13–17, 2025 – After five eventful days, the BAU trade fair in Munich concludes with fully booked exhibition halls and visitors from around the globe.
Despite the fair being shortened by one day, the major event attracted nearly as many visitors as in 2023, while even increasing the number of participating countries from 49 to 58.
Due to challenging economic conditions, expectations for BAU 2025 were tempered in advance, summarises Managing Director Dr Reinhard Pfeiffer: "However, the response from both exhibitors and visitors has been clearly positive. BAU provides courage and confidence, especially in these times". As a driving force for sustainable growth, progress, and innovation, BAU serves as a platform for exchange and inspiration, shaping the future of the construction industry.

CELO's summary after the trade fair week in Munich
BAU 2025 focussed on the key themes of ‘resilient, climate-friendly construction’, ‘resource efficiency’ and ‘economical construction’, among others. The trade fair stand and the new products presented by CELO Fixings were entirely dedicated to these topics:
Climate-friendly construction
The new FB window-fixing set has a long length to provide a reliable hold in lightweight bricks filled with insulating material, thus also responding to the trend towards climate-friendly construction. The same applies to the comprehensive range of insulation plugs for ETICS-insulated façades. CELO even offers the approved ResiTHERM® distance mounting system for fastening heavy loads such as awnings and canopies to the insulated façade.
Cost-effective construction
Other focus products at the CELO trade fair stand were characterised in terms of efficiency by a fast installation process, sophisticated anchor geometries and their universal applicability, such as the MFR multifunctional frame plugs for ventilated façades, ETA-approved metal anchors and bolt anchors, cavity fixings for board thicknesses of up to 70 mm and direct fixing to a variety of building materials with the most powerful and lightweight gas nailer in its class, the new FORCE ONE+ gas nailer.
