Seismic approval Apolo MEA fixings
Nowadays many construction projects require that the components have the capacity to resist earthquakes, and this means to be “Seismic Approved”. Besides, most jurisdictions require that structural components must comply seismic regulations, and also for the non-structural components, such as electrical systems, that must be Seismic Approved.
Apolo MEA Construction Fixings, has seismic approval products
Seismic Category C1
•Tested under static or quasi-static loading.
• Suitable for non-structural applications (Mechanical and electrical services, lighting and suspended ceilings, facade system, etc.)
Seismic Category C2
•Tested under dynamic and cyclic loading
• Suitable for Structural Applications (Fixing of structural steel components, Post installed rebar connections, Shear wall anchors, etc.)
There’re two seismic categories: C1 and C2. The installer must choose the correct categories according to the zone and applications
