Conditions of participation

Participation in the competition organised by CELO Befestigungssysteme GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organiser, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.

Procedure of the competition

The duration of the competition extends over the period from 15 January 2024, 0:00 to 08 March 2024, 24:00 and consists of two parts: During the registration period from 15/01/2024, 0:00 to 26/02/2024, 24:00, visitors to the CELO website will be given the opportunity to register online for the competition. An e-mail will then be sent to confirm participation. This e-mail can in turn be exchanged for one of three possible prizes at the CELO Fixings stand during the trade fair period from 3 to 8 March 2024 by the first 150 eligible participants after their details have been checked.

Participation

To take part in the competition, it is necessary to complete the online form. Participation is only possible within the registration period (see: Competition procedure). Forms submitted after the closing date will not be considered for the prize draw. Only one submitted form per participant will be considered. It is not permitted to fill in more than one form to increase the chances of winning. Participation in the competition is free of charge.

Eligible participants

Natural persons who have reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.

All persons involved in the conception and realisation of the competition and employees of the operator as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition. In addition, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example

(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with the organisation of the competition,
(b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation,
(c) in the event of unfair behaviour or
(d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.

Winning, notification and transfer of the prize

The following 150 prizes will be awarded - only while stocks last:

50x black CELO caps with "FORCE ONE" stickers worth around €25 each

50x stackable round tin of nylon plugs worth around €10.70 each

50x pack of UV-resistant cable ties worth around €7.55 each

The winners will be determined after the closing date for entries during the trade fair period from 3 to 8 March 2024. The prize will be awarded according to the speed principle, i.e. the prize will be awarded in the order of the entry emails presented at the trade fair stand.

The winners will not be informed of their prize by email or post, but will receive it directly on site.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner or the legal representative of the underage winner. An exchange, cash payment or dispatch of the prize is not possible. Any costs incurred for the dispatch of the prize will be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

The gift card must be handed in personally and cannot be transferred to other participants or handed in for them.

Cancellation of the competition

The organiser expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.

Data protection

Personal data must be provided in order to take part in the competition. The participant assures that the personal details provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and email address, are true and correct. The organiser points out that none of the participant's personal data will be passed on to third parties or made available to them for use without consent. In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the organiser's website and its social media platforms.

The participant can revoke his/her consent declared via the competition form at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the following email address of the organiser: info@celofixings.de. Once consent has been withdrawn, the participant's personal data that has been collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

Applicable law

Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be addressed to the operator. Contact details can be found in the operator's legal notice: www.celofixings.com.

The operator's competition is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
