The FB window-fixing set - consisting of an extra-long plug and an extra-long distance screw - enables secure and tension-free installation of windows and doors. The set was successfully tested with a frame distance of 20 mm by the ift Rosenheim (ID: 891-9DB0F) and is ideally suited for fixing windows and doors e.g. in thin-walled lightweight bricks with large chambers, in which normal window construction screws do not find a hold.

However, with the FB window-fixing set, the length of the screw ensures that the screw is always held in at least two webs of the brick, which guarantees high pull-out values and offers the user security.

No lateral spacers required for window fastening in the area of fastening with FB window fixing set. FB furthermore absorbs the thermal movements of the window, especially with large window elements. Therefore no subsequent adjustment of the sash is necessary. Outstanding twist resistance of the plug during the insertion of the screw is reached thanks to pronounced antirotation wings and optimum expansion over the entire plug length. The distance screw features an enlarged shank diameter for an increased bending moment. It´s 45 mm retaining thread (Ø 11 mm) ensures secure fixing of timber, aluminum and PVC-U windows as well as framed doors. A setting depth marking on the plug further eases the mounting process.

The extra-long plus is Made in Germany and manufactured from high-quality and halogen-free nylon.
