Insulation screw IPS-H is a special screw, designed for direct fastening into wood fibre insulation boards and perimeter insulation panels. She is used for fastening wall connection profiles, metal sheets, base protection profiles, cornice covers, motion detectors, lamps, signs, etc. without thermal bridges. The special feature: The short IPS-H screw with a length of 55 mm is perfectly suited for insulation thicknesses from 60 mm.

The pre-assembled and weather resistant EPDM sealing ensures clean sealing against driving rain up to wind force 11 (violent storm), tested in accordance to DIN EN 1027 by the "Prüfzentrum für Bauelemente" (testing center for building elements) Pfb in Rosenheim, Germany. The sealing ring prevents water and cold from penetrating the façade and seals it permanently. No subsequent sealing is necessary, which saves you an installation step. The drill hole is automatically sealed rainproof and the energy efficiency of the insulated façade is maintained.

Due to the sharp drill tip, pre-drilling in plaster (up to 7mm) is not necessary. The screw is made out of glass fibre-reinforced nylon, that means: aging, weather and UV-resistant. The IPS-H has a stylish flat head (Ø = 16 mm) with EPDM-sealing for optimal sealing and adaption to the ground. The IPS is available in different colours to match with the most common materials.

With the TX-Drive (TX25) you get a fast and easy installation, while the distinctive thread ensures good hold in insulation boards. The screw can be optimally screwed in through a 8 mm diameter clearance hole, which is particularly common for wall profiles. The head hole allows light duty fixings in combination with a screw 3,5 mm e.g. for motion detectors, lamps or letterboxes on the facade.
